## Why we recommend it

It is the dressiest room near us that still serves an ordinary weekday lunch. Ask for a table by the courtyard doors in the evening, when the terrace lamps are lit, and walk through the Palm Court on your way out.

## About

Le Petit Bon Bon is Christophe Hardiquest's brasserie inside the Corinthia, the
hotel that reopened on Rue Royale after a long restoration of the old Grand
Hotel Astoria. The cooking is Belgian and seasonal, described by the chef as
bold flavours in a simpler, more playful form than the tasting menus that made
his name.

The dining room gives onto a courtyard terrace through full-height glass
doors, with parasols and wall lanterns outside. Ask for a table along that side
in the evening.

Next door, the **Palm Court** sits under a stained-glass roof with a colonnade,
full-height palms and a grand piano, and serves afternoon tea. It is worth
walking through even if you are only booked into the brasserie.

The hotel also holds the **Corinthia Spa**, and **La Paix**, David Martin's
two-Michelin-starred restaurant. Check directly for La Paix before planning an
evening around it.

Lunch runs 12:00 to 14:30 and dinner 18:30 to 23:00, daily, with last orders
about forty-five minutes before close. This is the dressier end of what is
near the apartment, and worth booking.
