Le Petit Bon Bon

Le Petit Bon Bon is Christophe Hardiquest's brasserie inside the Corinthia, the hotel that reopened on Rue Royale after a long restoration of the old Grand Hotel Astoria. The cooking is Belgian and seasonal, described by the chef as bold flavours in a simpler, more playful form than the tasting menus that made his name.

The dining room gives onto a courtyard terrace through full-height glass doors, with parasols and wall lanterns outside. Ask for a table along that side in the evening.

Next door, the Palm Court sits under a stained-glass roof with a colonnade, full-height palms and a grand piano, and serves afternoon tea. It is worth walking through even if you are only booked into the brasserie.

The hotel also holds the Corinthia Spa, and La Paix, David Martin's two-Michelin-starred restaurant. Check directly for La Paix before planning an evening around it.

Lunch runs 12:00 to 14:30 and dinner 18:30 to 23:00, daily, with last orders about forty-five minutes before close. This is the dressier end of what is near the apartment, and worth booking.
