The façade

Highly sober façade on 4 levels with a gable in two registers of baroque style. Decorative program limited to two polychrome cartouches above the ground floor, with the names of the house.

History and restorations

Reconstruction after 1695 on the partially preserved cellars. Façade completely rebuilt in 1896-1899, with refurbishment of the gable; most recent restoration by the City completed in 2012.

Did you know

The pulley on the front was intended to hold the cable of the first aerial public lighting system in the square.
